The JSU Art Department thanks artist Frank Hamrick for his tintype exhibition: “Sometimes Rivers Flow Backwards.” Following the exhibition, Frank gave a lecture and hosted a wet-plate collodion tintype workshop in Carlisle Hall where faculty and students witnessed first-hand the tintype process.

Here’s a look at the SPE South Central Conference held in Nashville. Ten JSU photography students and several alumni participated in workshops, portfolio reviews, lectures, a downtown Nashville art crawl, (and even a little karaoke)!
