Solomon’s House exhibition at the University of La Verne

28 Jan , 2017

Sarah Cusimano Miles will have a solo exhibition of her work Solomon’s House as part the celebration of the 125th anniversary of the University of La Verne, located outside of Los Angeles, California. The overarching theme for the Irene Carlson Gallery of Photography for the 2016-2017 exhibition year is “Tensions and Traditions,” in order to acknowledge and address parallel threads of cultural awareness and sensitivity in our society. The exhibition is a part of the Lyceum series which is an amalgamation of the visual and performing arts, hosting noted lectures and scholarly and community engagements which are critical elements for understanding ideas, cultures and art forms.

The work will be exhibited from January 30 to March 24 with an opening reception on February 16 where Miles will appear for an artist lecture via the Internet.
