Join us Thursday, Feb 19th, as Megan Bean, J.D., Assistant Professor of Practice and Copyright & Information Policy Specialist at Mississippi State University Libraries, hosts two great events on campus. If you have questions about copyright, fair use, or how far can you push your work in the professional world, this will be two great resources for you.
9:00 – 10:30AM, Hammond Hall 104B, Megan Bean will host “Copyright Law for Artists – An Introductory Workshop,” where students will participate in a focused session on copyright basics, fair use analysis, and practical risk assessment for working artists and designers. This event is open for any art and design student.
4:30–5:30 PM, Roundhouse 101, Megan Bean will present “Copyright, Fair Use, & Risk: The Warhol Tour,” a public lecture examining fair use, transformation, and creative risk. This event is open to all JSU students and faculty.
