On November 6th, Manners Gallery welcomed two exciting shows: “Beyond the Blazes: The Trail Revisited” by Professor Doug Clark and the 2025 Annual Faculty Show.
As always, our faculty created a diverse range of works using all forms of media for display. From paintings, to sculpture, to interactive software, JSU’s Art & Design faculty never fail to amaze.
Professor Doug Clark, who is a avid hiker, documented his return to the Appalachian Trail after his original hike 30 years ago. Professor Clark documented not only the wildlife, but the community and social aspect of the trail as well, having met people from all walks of life.
We welcome both of these outstanding shows and encourage everyone to take a look before the installations are removed! Thank you to everyone who attended and participated!
